Are we open for business? Yes. But…
The state’s March 23rd proclamation has called out “Automotive, motorcycle, bicycle and motorized wheelchair/scooter repair and maintenance facilities” as critical to transportation so we’re going to remain open.
How to operate a bike shop during a global pandemic has never been a seminar at the big bike shows, so we’ve had to figure this out on our own.
We’re going to work like a restaurant that is accepting take-out orders. If you need to drop off your bike for a repair, please do so. If you’re picking up a repaired bike or need an inner tube or some pedals, please drop by.
We won’t be renting bikes this summer and we have a limited amount of time that we should talk about new bikes.
We’ll be at the store during our posted hours or more, so if the front door happens to be closed but the lights are on, just knock.
…By the way, if you need help with your bike but coming in is a problem for you, we can do your transaction over the phone and deliver items curbside.
Also, if you are inside our shop please give us and any other customers in the store their space.
