Lynskey Sportive Disc
Not a racing bike, just a great bike.
Interested in a titanium frame but a little concerned about getting “too much” bike?
Try one of the Lynskey Sportive Discs.
These bikes have that fantasic titanium ride quality and durability and are designed for long distance comfort. So while they’re easy on the body, they’re still fun to ride. The frames are designed to be more forgiving than the racy Lynskey Helix, but without the wimpy handling of a full touring bike. The Sportive’s frame geometry gives you a ride with quicker handling than the Backroads, better stability on the road than a Cooper CX and still has the titanium snap that is common to all three of them.
The old rim-brake Sportive could accommodate fenders with 23mm tires, which made it a good choice for club riding during a Pacific Northwest winter, but it was still a bit limited.
The new disc brake version can comfortably handle up to 33mm tires (or 28mm with fenders) with either standard quick release skewers or stiffer thru-axles.
Want to run hydraulic brakes or electronic shifting? Finishing options include hydraulic hose runs (as opposed to standard wire brake cable fittings) and internal routing for electronic shifting wires.
We can help you choose from a number of custom finish and component options available with the Sportive.
