Vintage 1980 Benotto road bike
This is a forty year old vintage Benotto road bike. Roger de Vlaeminck won the 1979 editions of Het Volk and Milan-San Remo aboard his Benotto road bike, and I’m sure you can go just as fast as Mr. De Vlaeminck if you buy it. The other two ingredients to Roger’s success were massive sideburns and lots of Gis brand Gelati, just so you know what you’re in for…
We have updated this wonderful Italian bike from the original Campagnolo Gran Sport components. The bike now has new 2 x 11 speed shifting thanks to a Campagnolo Centaur drivetrain, It stops a hell of a lot better with new Campy Chorus brakes, you get a comfortable ride atop a Brooks saddle and cork handlebar tape, and the whole bike feels a lot smoother with new Campagnolo Khamsin wheels and Panaracer tires.
This is a 50cm size frame and it will fit a rider who is 5’ to 5’4” tall the best. It comes with a working vintage Silca frame pump and new SPD pedals. All yours for only $1549.
