Used Bianchi Axis

Bianchi Axis steel gravel/touring bike

This is one of our favorite Bianchi models, and soon it may be your favorite too.

This is the Axis, an Italian-made steel model from the late ‘80’s. It was marketed as their touring/cyclocross/gravel bike way back then, and it even included a built-in strap for portaging the bike over obstacles. It was a good choice for anyone who wanted a steel-framed road bike with a triple crankset and wasn’t looking for a loaded touring model.

This paint on this bike looks a little rough, but most of the parts are new. So we have it outfitted with new Shimano Sora shifters and Deore derailleurs. The wheels are brand new (Shimano RS100) and they have new Panaracer Gravelking tires on them. You’ll like this bike. It’s light even though it has a steel frame, and while it’s not super new-looking, the battle-scarred paint is probably perfect for commuting or low-cost touring or gravel riding.

This is a medium to large 55cm size, and it will fit someone between 5’8” and 5’11” the best. All yours for $499.
