Used Public i7
This vintage-looking Public is like a station wagon.
As a kid I bet you swore that you would never drive a mini van or a station wagon. You resisted utility for years, just stuffing IKEA purchases into the back of your Mazda Miata. Maybe borrowed your neighbor’s pickup. At some point it became untenable. You had a couple of kids. Probably got a black lab named “Scooter”. A gear-intensive job or hobby meant that you had to haul a lot of stuff all over the place, and before you knew it, you became a station wagon owner (well, “sport crossover” or whatever they’re calling them now). I bet you love that utility vehicle.
This Public is like a station wagon. It looks like the bike you swore you’d never own, heck it even has the color scheme of an ‘80’s Oldsmobile.
But damn is it practical! An upright riding position, a comfortable saddle and a chainguard means that you can ride it in regular clothes. It has fenders to keep you clean and dry when the roads are wet. It comes with a kickstand, so you always have a place to park it. The luggage racks and basket mean that you can easily carry stuff with you as you ride. It has brakes that will stop reliably, and the 7-speed hub shifter lets you pedal comfortably up the hills when hauling groceries.
I bet you’ll love this bike.
This one’s a medium size, good for someone 5’1” to 5’9” tall. And only $549.
