1995 Guerciotti (Alan) cyclocross bike

NOS ‘95 Guerciotti cyclocross $1799

A mid ‘90’s dream cross bike.

Want to pretend that you made it to the top of the cyclocross world (thirty years ago)? This is a new old-stock Guerciotti cyclocross bike, made by Alan of Italy and imported from a Dutch bike shop via Ebay. The aluminum frame is a 54cm size, with a 54cm top tube, a 90mm Modolo SSC stem and 42cm bars. All of the Dura-Ace 7400 components are period-correct parts, except for the tires which are new 35c Vittoria Mezcals and the Cane Creek cross levers, which are from about 2002. The saddle is a Selle Italia Turbomatic 2 and the pedals are SPDs from the era.

Vintage Spinergys or…

There are a couple of changes from our museum set-up: We now have it outfitted with Mavic wheels: Mavic 501 hubs with Open Pro 4 CD clincher rims, which were a solid top-end choice for ‘95. Also, the brakes are blue Paul cantilevers instead of the older Deore XT models as they stop better. Now, if you have to have the Spinergy Rev-X tubulars wheels with green Michelin sew-ups, we can make it happen.

Good for a rider between 5’6” and 5’9” tall. $1799.
