We offer bicycle repair classes here at Classic Cycle. Master mechanic Paul will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about your bike (but were afraid to ask).

The Beginner

repair class mainly involves fixing a flat tire, getting comfortable with removing the wheels from your bike, basic maintenance, tire pressure, cleaning and lubrication. Cost is $30, and the class size is limited to 5 students and their bicycles.

The Intermediate class

is for folks who want to understand the braking and shifting systems on modern bicycles.  Adjustments, cable replacement, brake pad replacement, system cleaning and lubrication are all covered.  Cost is $35, and class size is limited to 4 students.

Custom

Want to build your own wheel?  Learn how to overhaul a bottom bracket? Custom classes are available.  Just ask, and we’ll work out a custom curriculum.

The class schedule is flexible, but classes usually are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30.  Call the shop at 206-842-9191 to reserve a spot.  We ask that you give us 48 hour notice if you have to cancel.  Bring your bike or the bike that you want to work on (your kid’s bike, spouse’s bike, etc.).
