This is a Trek “cyclocross” bike from ten years ago. At the time we didn’t think it would be a big seller because it came with wide-clearance cantilever brakes, really wide tires (for cyclocross), and frame geometry that was closer to a road bike than something designed for racing off-road. All of the design elements embodied in a good “Gravel” bike today.
This one comes with Sram Apex and Rival components, cantilever brakes, fresh 38mm wide tires, a new chain & brake pads. This bike would have set you back around $1800 when it was new and now can be had for $749.
This is a medium size 54cm frame. Good for a rider 5’6” to 5’9” tall.
