Hey, we managed to get a used tandem that wasn’t the byproduct of a divorce! How about that?
This is an old Burley Bungo hybrid tandem from 1990. The frame is made from True Temper cromoly tubing and Burley built it up in their factory in Oregon. It is fitted with Suntour and Shimano components from the time, along with Sugino tandem cranksets, new saddles, medium-width hybrid tires, a drag brake and a rack.
The bike is a medium (54cm rear, 57cm front) and should fit a 5’3” to 5-8″ tall stoker and a captain between 5’8″ and 5’11” tall. When this bike was brand new it would have cost you just over $1200. You can buy it now (in nearly new condition) for only $599.
