Cool Weather Clothing

The colder (and wetter) weather is here.  No need to worry.  Don’t put your bike away.  Come in to the shop and get yourself some new clothes.

Endura has the Stealth jacket.  Softshell design, with ultrasonic welded seams and completely waterproof yet breathable fabric.  The Stealth is great for riding eight months of the year around here, you can vary your temperature with a multitude of vents, yet it won’t flap like a parachute while you ride.  It’s a personal favorite of Paul’s, and was a design award winner at Eurobike.

Jaime is a big fan of convertible jackets and jerseys, and she has picked a bunch of great designs to help you stay comfortable as the weather changes.

Try the Elite Barrier Jacket from Pearl Izumi or the Pazzo jacket from Castelli.  They have zip-off sleeves for when the 45 degree morning commute turns into the 70 degree afternoon ride.  Sugoi has the popular Versa jacket for the gals, with magnetic snaps holding the bolero top to the vest underneath.
