Fuji Jari

Fuji Jari 2.3

Cyclocross bike or touring bike or gravel bike or disc-brake road bike?
Fuji has a family of bikes that fit into all of these categories but are defined by none of them.

Fuji’s Jari series are just a bunch of good bikes at decent prices.

The idea behind the Jari is that you can blur the lines of different bike categories and make a versatile and fun bike. Take a long haul touring bike and make the handling sportier. Take a cyclocross bike, lower the bottom bracket height for better on-road manners, then add rack & fender eyelets. Take a road bike, install disc brakes and give it some beefy tires and rims so it can handle a tough urban commute.

The Jari 2.3 gives you an aluminum frame, disc brakes, a cromoly steel fork, and reliable Shimano Sora components all for around $1100. It’s a steal. Then there’s the 1.3 which comes with a carbon fork and the newly updated Shimano SGRX 400 group with hydraulic disc brakes for about $2000!

If a gravel bike is you have in mind, you might want to ride one of these Fujis. With great performance and astounding choices (including a motorized E-Jari), you really ought to give one of these a spin.
