Used Trek T100 Tandem
Hey, we managed to get a used tandem that wasn’t the byproduct of a divorce! How about that?
This is Paul and Jaime’s old Trek T100 hybrid tandem from 1999. The frame is made from True Temper cromoly tubing, and Trek built in their factory in Wisconsin. It is fitted with Shimano XTR components from the time, along with Sugino tandem cranksets, an adjustable stoker stem, medium-width hybrid tires, a kickstand and a rack.
The bike is a medium (50cm rear, 54cm front) and should fit a 5′ to 5-7″ tall stoker and a captain between 5’5″ and 5’11″ tall. When this bike was brand new it would have cost you just over $1200. You can buy it now (in nearly new condition) for only $749.
